Consultation has concluded
The Cobourg Police Service is conducting a community consultation on the use of body-worn cameras in policing. We are looking for community members to share their thoughts and experiences on the use of body-worn cameras.
We invite you to participate in a survey about citizens’ knowledge and opinions of body-worn cameras. We are interested in your views and experiences as the perspectives of citizens served by the Cobourg Police Service are important to us. This survey provides an opportunity for you to provide your input on the use of body-worn cameras as the Cobourg Police Service considers them for use in our community. Your responses will help us understand how the community feels about the use of body-worn cameras and will help us better form guidelines and policies.
Participation is voluntary. You do not have to answer any questions you do not want to. You can stop participating at any time. Please answer each question truthfully and to the best of your ability. If a question does not apply to you, or if you are not sure what it means, just leave it blank. The survey should take 10 to 15 minutes of your time.
Please be sure to read the instructions for each section before you begin. If you have any questions about the research or wish to receive a paper copy of the survey, please contact Lisa Munday at lisa.munday@cobourgpolice.com.
Thank you for taking part in this important survey.
