Public Engagement Begins

The Town of Cobourg will begin seeking feedback from citizens on the Draft Report for the Cultural Master Plan, and specifically the six Strategic Directions proposed within the plan.

Open House

Thursday, September 5, 2019. Time: 6-8 p.m.
Location:
Cobourg Community Centre, 750 D’Arcy Street | Cameco Room

The Open House will
include a presentation from MDB Insight who will review the Cultural Master
Plan Draft Report and each of the identified Strategic Directions. Citizens
will then participate in an engagement exercise where they will be asked to
provide comments at six stations addressing each of the Strategic Directions.
Citizens will continue to build on what feedback provided by previous groups.

The online engagement tools (forum and story modules) close at 4 p.m. EST.

October 03 2019

Staff Report Submitted to Council

October 15 2019

Council Discussion

Cobourg Council will receive the final report from the Public Engagement Plan for review at the Committee of the Whole meeting.

October 21 2019

Council Decision

Cobourg Council will come to a decision based on the feedback provided by citizens, Draft Cultural Master Plan Report submitted by MDB Insight and discussion held at the Committee of the Whole meeting.
