Potential Affordable Housing Sites Survey

As part of a comprehensive public engagement process the Town of Cobourg is seeking input to provide further insight on the identified potential affordable housing properties to assist in guiding next steps for Council. 

When reviewing each property, some considerations may be:

• Neighbourhood/community needs and impacts (ie. parkland, community facilities, socio-economic factors) 
• Municipal operational needs (ie. capital infrastructure, parking, administrative/recreational facilities)
• Potential unit yield (ie. economics, impact on addressing current housing needs)
• Distance from community facilities, commercial areas and support services
• Distance to transit and active transportation modes of travel 
• Distance to other services such as a grocery store, pharmacy, childcare services or healthcare services
